Hello folks. My name is Justin Reed and I run the gaming blog TWOTALL4UFOOL’s Gaming & More. A little bit about the title TWOTALL4UFOOL is my gamer tag (and alias LOL). So on my blog, I discuss a variety of different topics within the world of gaming and technology mostly. Topics can vary from what is going on in gaming news, to my reaction of a new device that is coming out, to a game review (new or retro), and sometimes I’ll go off the board and blog about other various topics such as blogging, something that I find interesting and even nostalgia. I also interview other bloggers as well and I don’t discriminate when it comes to their niche. All are welcome if you ever wanna do an interview. (Hopefully, I can get you, Dan)!
(*I’d be game for that, just let me know when!! – Dan)
Playing and talking about video games is something I’m very passionate about. And I feel blogging about it is the perfect platform for me to discuss my opinions on it. I welcome anyone to join in on my conversations by leaving me comments on any of my posts. If you are shy or want to talk to me on a more personal level feel free to email me at TWOTALL4UFOOL@outlook.com.
Outside of blogging and gaming, I am a husband and a father. I have a beautiful daughter who recently turned three. I enjoy hanging out with family and friends whenever I get the chance and I also enjoy watching sports. NBA Basketball is my favorite and being from So Cal I root for the Los Angeles Clippers. I also recently got into podcasting and that has been really fun. If there is anything else you wanna know or have any about me or have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
(*For those outside the U.S., So Cal is short for Southern California – Dan)
1. How long have you been blogging?
I started my blogging on January 1st of this year. I’m almost to my blogiversary and I’m very excited.
2. Are you a full-time blogger or do you also have another job/career?
I wish I did this full time. I work full time at a warehouse for a very popular company. I work in the procurement department.
3. What got you started into blogging?
I wanted a platform where I could get my opinions out on gaming and other related topics. I’ve explored blogging in the past but I feel it didn’t work the first time around because I was blogging about crap that no one cared about and when I started a YouTube channel about a year and a half ago I was using the blog I had at that time to accompany the channel instead of using the channel to accompany the blog. I was doing it all the wrong way I feel.
4. What is your blog about and how does it help others?
It’s about video games and technology. How I feel it helps others is it can give expertise to a person who is a casual gamer or someone even looking to get into gaming. It can even give a person advice on a particular controller or accessory that I’ve used. I feel I am an expert on what I’m talking about when it comes to video games. I feel there is a game out there for everyone to play. They ain’t just for kids.
5. What is working for you and your blog? Why?
I feel Twitter has done me very well. I wasn’t a believer in that site at first but I feel if you are a blogger you really need to get on there. There’s a lot of bloggers out there and if you are looking to network and find an audience there you go.
6. What did not work out so well for your blog? Why?
Facebook didn’t work out too well. It’s still there but I’m not a fan. If you want to like my page feel free. I feel it’s hard to promote on Facebook. I thought it was the easiest in the beginning but I was wrong.
7. What tools, programs, apps do you use to create your blog/website (tools that you can’t live without)?
The only app I really use is the WordPress app. It does me well. And yes I can’t live without.
8. What piece of advice would you give to someone who is interested in starting a blog?
I got two pieces of advice for anyone who wants to start a blog. First, make sure whatever you are blogging about is something you are passionate about. I feel your content will really shine if you are excited about something you are writing about. Secondly just be you while you write. I feel as bloggers you don’t need to be uptight all the time. At the end of the day, we are people. And I feel readers want to know the person behind the blog. So just be you and have fun with it.
9. What do you have planned for the future of your website?
I have a lot planned come 2019. One of the things I’ll start doing is shouting out specific posts from other bloggers in my monthly site news posts. That’s one of the things I got planned. (You read it here first).
10. Where can everyone find you?
