Today’s blogging tip is more of a WordPress Tip. I’m going to cover how to set up your site icon. The site icon is the little image that shows up on the left-side of your browser tab. My site icon is a capital D with a pen going through the middle.
Select your image. It needs to be 512 pixels by 512 pixels.
In the menu bar on the left-side, click on Appearance.
Then click on Customize.
A new window will pop up. On the left-hand menu bar, click on Site Identity.
Click on Select Image. This will take you to your Media Library. If your image is already there, then click on the image. If not you will have to upload the file to your media library.
Scroll to your image. Click on the image and then click on Select.
Click on Publish to make it official.
I hope you enjoyed today’s blogging tip. If so, leave me a comment below. I answer all comments.
I’m going to try to cover more WordPress topics this month. Stuff to help you customize your site, plugins, widgets, and other fun stuff to customize your site.
