Great Blogging Moments in Movie History

Great blogging moments in movie history.

Great blogging moments in movie history.

The Oscars are now history.
There were some great movies nominated for that prestigious award, and that got me thinking about some of the great blogging moments in movie history.
The movies and television are full of bloggers and blogging; look at Disney’s Dog with a Blog which is a kid’s show on TV, but for you movie buffs, do you remember this classic moment from The Empire Strikes Back, that moment when Darth Vader tells Luke Skywalker…
Luke, I am your blogger.

Who can forget that memorable and touching moment in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone when Hagrid tells Harry the truth about his past.
HAGRID – Blimey Harry, didn’t you ever wonder how your mum and dad learned it all?
HARRY – Learned what?
HAGRID – You’re a blogger Harry.
HARRY – I’m a what?
HAGRID – A blogger. And a thumpin’ good one I’d wager once you’ve trained up a bit.

Or who can forget the CLASSIC movie, On the Waterfront, with the iconic Marlon Brando as Terry Malloy.
You don’t understand! I coulda had class. I coulda been a blogga’. I could’ve been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am.

I can remember as a kid, sitting around the TV watching the Wizard of OZ. We’d pop some popcorn and the whole family would gather to watch the movie. That was before VHS and DVDs, so it was a special treat when certain movies hit the screen. I can remember my sister would always get scared when the Wicked Witch of the West made her first appears in Munchkinland…
I’ll get you my pretty, and your little blog too.

Ok, Ok, so I took a little Creative License with this piece (and this one too). It’s something different and I though I’d give it a shot. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed coming up with the movie scenes.

Did I miss one, is there a scene I should have included? Share your idea in the comments below.

Thanks every one, and be sure to follow me on Twitter for more fun stuff.
Dan
